We do the build work
You don't have to build integrations with booking systems yourself. Through Sojolock and its API, bookings reach your locks automatically.
Careful with your API
We respect your limits, store tokens encrypted and ask the lock owner for permission.
Clear status
Every brand has an honest label: Under investigation, Coming soon, In testing or Connected. So the customer knows what to expect.
What we need technically
An integration with us is a small piece of code per brand. We look at what your API can do and show in the platform only what that brand really supports.
- Retrieve locks: a list of a customer’s locks, with name and status.
- Create and delete temporary access: a PIN code or digital key with start and end date, and being able to revoke it again. This is the core.
- Optional: remote open and close, the activity log, battery status and alerts when something fails.
- Per-customer consent: preferably OAuth2 (the customer logs in with you and gives us access), otherwise an API key per customer.
- Documentation and a test environment or test lock, plus your rate limits and any costs.

Rooms and common doors
In a hotel it is about more than one lock: the room, the front door, the lift and the spa. Per booking these have to match.
Cards and mobile keys
Many hotel systems use cards encoded at reception, or a key in an app. We look at which route your system offers.
Certified integration
Hotel systems usually have their own partner programme. We are happy to go through it together and integrate via your official interface.

Frequently asked questions from lock brands
What does it cost my brand?
We discuss that in the first conversation. Our starting point is that building the integration should not cost you money, if we get access to your API and a test lock.
Does my brand have to support everything?
No. PIN codes or digital keys with start and end date are the core. Operating, activity log and battery are extras. We show only what works per brand.
How securely do you handle our API?
Tokens are stored encrypted, the customer gives permission, we respect your limits and everything we do to a lock is logged. Our codes carry a recognisable prefix so we never touch codes that are not ours.
May you use our logo?
We show your logo and a photo of the lock on a connected or announced brand. Preferably send your own imagery and usage rules.
We don't have a public API yet.
Apply anyway. Tell us your plans; sometimes a closed partner API can work.
